Day 4 Update: Early Riser Alert! Rockleigh Tours Starts the Day at Port Augusta

We began our day with a delightful breakfast in Port Augusta, known as the gateway to both the northern and southern parts of Australia. This vibrant town provided the perfect fuel for an exciting journey ahead. From there, we embarked on a scenic drive with several stops, each more stunning than the last.

Stop in Coober Pedy: We made a vital stop in the unique town of Coober Pedy to top up on fresh water. Famous for its opal mines and underground homes, Coober Pedy showcased the innovative ways locals adapt to desert life.
Setting Up Camp in the Painted Desert: We are now heading to set up camp in the breath taking Painted Desert, known for its vibrant, colourful landscapes. This location promises a serene evening under a star-filled sky
